listen, readers! you should know: some of my very best (pseudo) acquaintances are finance guys... so i feel like i'm in a (sorta) ok position to judge EXACTLY how they must be feeling right now, given the current financial situation. in fact, in the bloodshot eyes of men who have, on occasion, forced me to question the oft-accepted-as-fact notion that ALL human beings are capable of experiencing emotion, i've noticed a certain psychotic humility and even, dare i say, a charming modesty. times are tough, that's for sure.
